Internal Control Assistant (m/f)

Responsibilities:

• The role holder will be expected to:
  • Run reports on behalf of management and assess whether the reports have been changed.
  • Manually review reports to check their validity.  This will require checking several items on the report back to source data.
  • Reviewing system automation to ensure it is functioning as required.  This will require checking that transactions can be tied back to source.
  • Tying financial balances back to supporting evidence.
• Carry out spot checks on the businesses when requested
• Partner with process owners and the wider Internal Controls Team to update and maintain process documentation / flowcharts and controls
• Work with external auditors and consultants to provide documentation for audit testing,
• Assist in the remediation efforts of controls where identified

 
Qualifications:

• Final year or fresh graduated student
• Can work in office, 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day
• Can work for 6 months via fix term agency contract
• Experience in finance department on same or similar position
• Good analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent Excel tool proficiency is required
• Experience with SAP is a plus
