Your key responsibilities:
- Technical research into areas of tax legislation
- Commercial research into new clients
- Attending and taking notes of client meetings and calls
- Managing (under supervision) an allocated portfolio of work
- Learning how to advise on a variety of tax matters: personal/income tax, corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing and other corporate tax related taxes, corporate payroll operations, corporate tax compliance, bookkeeping, Statutory reporting, etc.
- Interaction with other colleagues in both local office and our offices abroad
- Verbal and written contact with client
To qualify for the role you must have:
- 4th or 5th year students in the field of economy or law
- Regular student, able to obtain SC contract
- Able to work most of the week
- Interest in tax consulting and/or accounting
- Excellent knowledge of English and Croatian
- Previous working experience or student jobs are an advantage
- PC knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Responsibility towards work, deadlines and team
- Hard working and motivated
- Problem solving capabilities
