Clients need our help with building a desired image on the job market, and we... Well, we need somebody to help us help them, which is why we’re looking for a new addition to our Employer Branding unit. Our new colleague would be directly involved in handling clients and guiding them through all stages of the employer branding process , together with our Employer Branding Director, Iva.
 
About the team and the job
 
Degordian is an always curious strategic-creative digital agency.

We are five-time recipients of the "Best Employer" award given in the annual employee satisfaction survey by MojPosao, and now we’re looking for someone to join the work culture we’re so proud of!

Our Zagreb office consists of over 50 curious and hardworking marketing enthusiasts. We're currently working mostly from home and will continue like this until the coronavirus situation is over, after which we plan to offer flexible working options to all employees.

The mission of our Employer Branding unit is as clear as day — to help clients build a better image as an employer. Our vision is to become the go-to employer branding agency, providing regional and global companies a wide range of services and supporting their HR teams along the way.

The newest member of the team would be working with our Employer Branding Director in handling employer branding projects and further developing our processes and services, but he or she would also collaborate with copywriters, strategists, video content creators and designers. What can we say, it takes a village!

More specifically, the role of the Employer Branding Assistant would be working with clients in creating an employer branding strategy, or any other step of the employer branding process. They would assist in guiding the client, but also serve as a point of contact for our internal team. Since the job includes a lot of teamwork, daily communication and constant cooperation with various people (both on our side and that of the client), we want someone comfortable with this type of work. It’s also important that he or she has an ingrained sense of responsibility and great organizational skills, is capable of meeting deadlines, coordinating projects — all in all, a “get things done” kind of person.

To clarify what we mean with “projects”: sometimes the clients need a new “Careers” page, or a company culture video, or an improved blueprint for internal communication, or simply a one-time team event.
That’s where you come in to figure out precisely what they want and how to make it useful and in line with their employer branding goals.

As you can see, there’s variety, but we consider that the coolest part of the job. The other cool thing is that it’s a job in a growing field, fresh and full of potential, so we’re looking for someone that’s ready to learn with us , not just from us. Someone enthusiastic and interested in employer branding who will share our passion and desire to explore and experiment, sometimes with things that have never been done in our region. Your professional experience
● Some marketing experience (acquired through projects, student jobs or full-time positions)

Your qualifications
● BA or MA degree (preferably marketing, psychology or communication studies — we also accept applicants finishing their education)
● Excellent knowledge of Croatian language (C2) and English language (B2), both written and spoken
● Interest in the field of employer branding, campaigns and trends
● Interest in the field of human resources management and HRM processes
● Interest in marketing
● Interest in negotiation, creating offers and budget management
● Excellent computer and IT skills
● Good communication skills (both oral and written)
● Good organisational and project management skills
● Good teamwork skills
● Good research skills
● Basic presentation skills (and a desire to continuously improve)

Bonus points
● Good knowledge of digital marketing
● Some experience in written and/or oral communication with clients or partners
● Some experience in HR
● Some experience in employer branding or branding activities in general

Your day-to-day
● Assisting and collaborating with our Employer Branding Director
● Coordinating and creating materials needed for presenting our services (presentations and similar documents)
● Creating new ways of presenting our unit and services to clients
● Assisting in handling clients and projects
● Participating in communication, meetings and workshops with clients
● Keeping track of client arrangements and project deadlines
● Creating and coordinating the production of project materials for clients
● Participating at employer branding video and photo shoots
● Participating in preparing documents and materials for pitches
● Participating in preparing offers and contracts for clients
● Collaborating with copywriters, strategists, designers, video content creators and other teams, depending on the project
● Creating promo materials for our Employer Branding unit with our Marketing & PR team
● Developing our unit and our services with the Employer Branding Director
● Continuous research about the field and current trends, sharing that information with colleagues and clients
