Accountant (M/F)
(work location: Zagreb)
Job description(work location: Zagreb)
- Receipt, control and archiving of accounting and financial documentation;
- Booking of incoming and outgoing invoices;
- Booking and maintaining records for other business events, bank statements, travel reports, journal entries and similar;
- Reconciliation of suppliers' and customers' statements of open balances;
- Follow up of current legislation in the area of finance and accounting, and application and implementation of necessary updates;
- Assistance in preparation of monthly reporting, annual financial statements, audits and corporate profit tax return;
- Use of portals e-porezna and e-mirovinsko;
- Other administrative tasks as needed by the employer.
Terms and conditions:
- Education level: High school degree or University degree
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Use of computers: MS office package (Word, Excel)
- Individuality and proactiveness in completion of tasks is a must
- Person needs to be motivated, ready to learn and work
- Person needs to be responsible, systematic, detailed and ready to keep-up-to date with changes in the business environment
- Languages: English – good knowledge of written and spoken English is a must
