Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable ETL processes.
- Manage and optimize database performance, ensuring high levels of data quality and availability.
- Develop and maintain vectorized databases to support advanced data analytics.
- Configure and manage Power BI and other visualization tools for data reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and implement solutions accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and propose improvements to existing systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ETL processes, database design, and management.
- Strong expertise in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
- Experience in creating vectorized databases and handling large, complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not mandatory.
