Najava Brown bag seminara

Poziv na 73. Brown Bag seminar -  Khadija Ali Vakeel

Brown bag seminar će održati Khadija Ali Vakeel (DePaul University) koja će prezentirati rad pod naslovom "From Lift to Plateau: The Breadth of AI-Involved Preparation and Platform Performance".

Kratki sažetak izlaganja:

Platform entrepreneurs increasingly use artificial intelligence (AI) across multiple production activities before releasing content into ranked environments. Broader AI involvement expands the range of features creators can modify, but existing research does not explain whether the association with platform performance should extend as AI enters additional production activities. We examine this tension using authorized platform data from one YouTube creator and 278 videos comprising repeated versions of the same underlying episodes. The videos were produced under no-AI, bounded-AI, and, within the short-form subset, extensive-AI configurations; platform performance was measured as cumulative views. Bounded AI was associated with substantially higher cumulative views than no AI, and the estimated association was larger among short-form than among long-form videos. Within the short-form subset, bounded and extensive AI had similar point estimates, and the direct extensive-versus-bounded contrast was not statistically significant. This pattern remained visible after including recorded impressions and time since publication, and the direct extensive-versus-bounded comparison did not differ statistically across observed exposure horizons. Supplementary analyses indicated that publication timing and dependence on individual matched-content groups did not readily account for the pattern. The findings distinguish expanded AI-assisted productive capability from differences in one externally evaluated outcome and direct future theory toward explaining when assistance across additional production activities corresponds with continued gains, plateaus, thresholds, or reversals in platform performance.

O Brown Bag seminaru:
