Second meeting of the CUES project consortium held

On September 16 and 17, 2024, the second consortium meeting of the CUES project was held in Leuven, Belgium. The meeting was hosted by the Belgian university KU Leuven and brought together project partners to discuss the progress made so far and the next steps of the project.

The meeting was very successful - all partners shared updates on their respective activities, celebrated key milestones, and exchanged valuable insights and experiences. Special emphasis was placed on addressing challenges and defining concrete steps to ensure the continued successful implementation of the project.

On the second day of the meeting, discussions focused on organizing workshops in both digital and physical settings, with an emphasis on best practices, procedures, and codes of conduct. A dedicated training session on focus groups was also held, aimed at clarifying implementation procedures, data processing, and transmission to the project coordinator, Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Through open and constructive exchange of ideas and information, the meeting provided a comprehensive overview of achievements so far and laid a solid foundation for the next phase of the project.

The CUES project (Consumers' Understanding of Eating Sustainably) is part of the Horizon Europe programme and aims to revolutionize food consumption towards more sustainable patterns. The project promotes a so-called “Triple Change” - in culture, the food value chain, and public policy - to encourage sustainable food consumption. The project started in March 2024 and will run for 48 months. At the Faculty of Economics and Business - Zagreb, the project is led by Prof. Marina Dabić, Ph.D.
