Department of Accounting conducts research in scientific disciplines that provides students with understanding of the broad field of accounting and auditing. Accounting majors learn about accounting reports, accounting systems, accounting methods and techniques of cost management, accounting methods for business combinations, consolidation methods, accounting aspects of taxes, financial reports analysis, business plan techniques, evaluation of business activities, auditing methods and procedures, internal control systems. Students also deepen their knowledge in specific accounting systems like trade, tourism, banks, investment and pension funds, insurance companies and learning about accounting systems in the EU.
Accounting majors gain knowledge and skills necessary for highly technical jobs in accounting and auditing that include all sectors of economy and public administration:
