My research focuses on tourism, tourism policy, destination management, tourism impacts and externalities, tourism demand, seasonality, short-term rentals, destination development, tourism measurement and research methodology. A particular part of my work is concerned with the economic and social effects of tourism in mature destinations, with a special emphasis on Croatia and other Mediterranean tourism contexts.
