Dr. Petra Barišić works at the Department of Tourism, Faculty of Economics & Business University of Zagreb as the Assistant Professor where she teaches to more than 600 students each year. Petra had her PhD at the same faculty, on the topic „The influence of social media on the process of tourism destination choice“. So her research interests includes social media in tourism, tourism marketing, transport economics and behavioural economics. She improved her research and teaching expertise at the University of Houston, Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management, USA, at the Universidad Catolica del Uruguay, Facultad de Ciencias Empresariales, Uruguay, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Faculty of Economics, North Macedonia and at the other universities worldwide. She is the author and co-author of a large number of scientific and professional papers, as well as the book chapters. But before all of that she is the triple mother and the person who respects and cherish every living being.
