Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services Associate at PwC Croatia

We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual who will contribute to the delivery of our vision. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work in a demanding environment and be very motivated to learn new regulation as well as reporting and assurance standards.
 

The role:

  • The role sits within a rapidly growing part of the CMAAS team. You will benefit from an on-the-job coaching from your colleagues and will have access to the latest PwC training and development tools and we will support your other learning activities.
  • You will be reporting directly to your senior colleagues/managers and will be provided with the opportunity to contribute to our medium to long-term strategy.
  • CMAAS will provide you with many opportunities to learn new things. Such as reporting standards and regulations as well as management soft skills.
  • You will be expected to build and maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • You will be required to assist senior colleagues and managers in delivering the projects. With appropriate supervision and coaching from your colleagues, you will take ownership of your projects.
  • When necessary, you will be expected to interact with other PwC lines of services (such as tax, consulting, deals, etc.) which will also provide development opportunities in your in
non-core areas.
 

What we’re looking for:

  • The candidate should be achievement-oriented, flexible and adaptive on a daily basis. They should take responsibility for the work. As an Associate, this means being proactive in seeking supervision and guidance from senior colleagues;
  • Bachelor’s degree or a higher degree preferably in the field of Finance, Accounting or related field;
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA qualifications or studying for these qualifications is an advantage but not necessary;
  • Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise and be resilient as well as able to work on several projects at once when needed to meet tight deadlines;
  • Fluency in Croatian and English.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Most important quality that we are looking for in a candidate is to be a fast learner, be motivated to learn and have a positive attitude towards constant professional development.
  • No minimum years of experience are required but any previous work experience is an advantage.
