About the internship

We are currently looking to expand our AIFM team in Luxembourg. This role gives ample opportunities to undertake client facing work and develop key skills in communication, teamwork and lateral thinking. During the internship, you will have the opportunity to support senior members of the AIFM in all core AIFM functions, such as portfolio management, risk management, valuation and compliance/oversight.
 
 

Key Responsibilities

• Client relationship management including ongoing multi-channel communication such as face-to-face, telephone and email.
• Assist in preparing quarterly reporting on AIFM functions, such as portfolio management, risk management and valuation.
• Perform general administrative duties in support of the AIFM functions above.
• Assist senior team members to administer AIFM services for a portfolio of real estate, private equity and infrastructure funds.

 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations for which there may be out-of-the-box thinking.
• Ability to plan effectively, with strong deadline orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and an inquisitive mind-set.
• Strong MS Office/Excel skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a must, every other language is considered an asset.
