- Since 2013, the World Bank has been organizing the Youth Summit to connect and dialogue with young people on the most important issues facing our generation.
- This year, the Summit is organized for the first time in a completely virtual form and will be held on June 9 and 10, 2021.
- To participate in the event you need to register at this link no later than May 20, 2021 (11:59 p.m. ET).
- This year's theme of the summit is - Resilient recovery of people and the Earth.
- At the heart of the Youth Summit in 2021 is the role of youth in addressing the effects of climate change and how we can enable the resilient recovery of humans and planet Earth.
- The two-day summit will include introductory speeches by experts from around the world, interesting stakeholder discussions for participants and live audiences, and expert panels.
- Attendees will enjoy the so-called “Innovation Market” where through interactive exhibitions they will be able to learn about partner organizations and get in direct contact with key people from the industry.
