The University of Zagreb maintains bilateral contacts with foreign universities within the framework of coordinated and signed bilateral agreements. These bilateral agreements are essentially equivalent and cover the following forms of cooperation:
work on mutually agreed topics, exchange of teaching staff, student exchanges, joint publication, exchange information of mutual interest and other activities aimed at promoting academic cooperation.

- Learning Agreement (signed and stamped)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Grade Transcript and Certificate of Enrolment
- Copy (scan) of the passport or ID (EU citizens)
- Certificate of English language proficiency reqiured – B2 (students that attend English taught programmes can send proof from their institution that they are enrolled in English taught programme)
