Annual award Prof. dr. sc. Ferdo Spajić is awarded for the best accounting master's thesis. Award was founded in 2007 and is awarded in honour of the longtime professor, scientist and expert in the field of accounting.
Professor Spajić was a faculty member from 1971 until his death in July of 2007. He educated over 30 generations of students in the field of accounting. Professor Spajić is an author and coauthor of many textbooks and professional books on the topic of accounting and taxes. He is an author of over a hundred professional and scientific papers. From 1997 professor Spajić was the Head of Faculty of Economics & Business Postgraduate Studies in Accounting, Auditing and Finance as well as a longtime editor in chief of „Računovodstvo i financije“ journal.
