Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb

Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb Awarded the AMBA Accreditation, Becomes the 128th Triple-Accredited Faculty in the World

The Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb made a remarkable achievement by obtaining the AMBA (Associations of MBAs) and the BGA (Business Graduates Association) accreditations.

In addition to the AACSB and EQUIS accreditations, AMBA is the third in the so-called Triple Crown of accreditations that less than 1% of business schools worldwide can boast. This achievement makes the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb the 128th member of this elite global community of business schools. These accreditations are awarded by three of the largest and most renowned global accreditation institutions, marking the highest standards in quality and excellence in business education.

The path to triple accreditation is demanding and lengthy. Obtaining each accreditation is a separate process, which takes between three and seven years, and includes comprehensive self-evaluation and rigorous reviews by accreditation panels and teams. Strict assessments conducted by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA related to students and study programs, classes, internationalization, research results, social responsibility and the impact that the faculty members, students and alumni have in the community, are the quality criteria that the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb, as the only triple-accredited institution in Croatia, meets.

Accreditation ensures our students are educated according to the most relevant and latest global trends, preparing them to become effective leaders. Although obtaining the Triple Crown is a remarkable achievement that reflects the ambitions, vision and mission of the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb, which is to be the best higher education institution in the field of economics and business both in Croatia and the wider region, it also represents a responsibility to continue on this path of becoming more competitive on the global level.

As we approach our 104th birthday, we are aware that only together with our students, employees, alumni and other stakeholders can we be a leader in innovation in education and research, shaping a future that will reflect our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
