At yesterday's session, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) decided to grant institutional EQUIS accreditation to the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. Thus, the Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb, in addition to the prestigious AACSB accreditation, became accredited with the most prestigious European institutional accreditation EQUIS.
Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb is the only higher education institution in Croatia and this part of Europe that has managed to meet very rigorous EQUIS criteria and is especially praised in the field of quality study programs and pedagogical methods and quality of scientific work and success of students and alumni.
In the accreditation process, the Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb was evaluated in 10 quality standards (https://www.efmdglobal.org/accreditations/business-schools/equis/ ).

By obtaining EQUIS accreditation, in addition to the institutional accreditation of AACSB and accreditation of the EPAS program, the Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb is proactively working on the international relevance of the Faculty, which is especially important in terms of negative demographic trends in our region. These accreditations will enable the strengthening of the reputation of the Faculty and its greater relevance in the international market of higher education and will be a strong incentive for further internationalization of the Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb.
