Biography
Morana Fudurić is an associate professor at the Marketing department, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. She graduated with honors from University of Zagreb with a master’s degree in Business and Marketing Communication Management. She received her Ph.D. in communication sciences from the Universita della Svizzera italiana, where she investigated relationship orientation in social media and its impact on company performance. In 2018, she received the EMAC Junior Faculty Visiting Program Award and spent six months doing research at Northwestern University, working on the Local News Initiative and several other projects related to online digital platforms and content marketing.
She conducts survey, experimental and data-driven research to investigate antecedents and consequences of media consumption and technological disruption. Her current research interests center around computational advertising, data-driven marketing, integrated marketing communications, and digital media consumption.
She is currently the Vice-President for Membership and Communication of the European Marketing Academy (EMAC). Her work has been published in
Journal of Advertising, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services and other outlets. She served as guest editor for special issues in Journal of Business Research and European Journal of Marketing, and is a reviewer for a number of reputable journals.
She derives her professional experience from the media and advertising industry where she worked in IMAGO advertising agency and Core media - a TV production company, and her recent consulting activities, which she often uses in her classes.
