Mihovil Anđelinović was born in Split. He is a Croat and a citizen of the Republic of Croatia. He finished Elementary school Trstenik and the 1. Grammar school in Split. After completing his high school education, he enrolled at the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb in 2001, majoring in Finance, graduating in July 2004. In April 2009, he enrolled in the post-graduate doctoral studies at The Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism at the University of Split in business economics, and in October 2011 he completed his PhD dissertation entitled "The influence of economic cycles on the formation of the investment portfolio of insurance companies”. Since January 2006, he has been employed at the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb at the Department of Finance as an Assistant, since November 2011 as a Senior Assistant, since November 2014 as an Assistant Professor and since January 2020 as an Associate Professor. He participates in teaching the courses "Financial Institutions and Markets", "Stock Markets", "Insurance and Risks" and “Payment systems”. He is a mentor on a large number of seminars, final and graduate theses. Mihovil Anđelinović actively publishes works independently and in co-authorship in international and domestic journals and in the proceedings of international scientific conferences. He was additionally educated at various scientific and professional conferences and workshops. He is the Head of the postgraduate specialist study "Insurance and reinsurance" and has presented at numerous professional and specialist seminars.
