Biography
Katarina Sičaja was born in Koprivnica. She completed Grigor Vitez Elementary school in Sveti Ivan Žabno, and The Bjelovar Gymnasium. She enrolled in the integrated undergraduate and graduate university study of Business Economics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb, in 2017 and graduated in 2023 - majoring in Finance. During her studies, she was a demonstrator at the Department of Finance. She also participated in a project in which she was the team leader for the business plan and business model in the Entrepreneurship course, as well as in the Financial Literacy project for third-year students. She stood out in a presentation skills competition in English called Organize Your Talk and was rewarded with a trip to seminars at the European Commission office in Brussels. During her previous work experience in auditing, she acquired the necessary professional knowledge and skills to perform the duties of an auditor. Since June 2024, she has been employed as an assistant at the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. Currently, she participates in the courses: "Financial Institutions and Markets", "Stock Exchanges" and "Payment Systems". She actively speaks English and German.CV-ENG
