Business Matchmaker is a one-day speed dating event for the students of final-year of the Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb. The project will take place in the online form on May 5, 2021.
This project allows students to personally present themselves to a group of desired companies, or their potential employers through a combination of speed dating and job interviews lasting 6 minutes. The most successful students will be selected for the next, longer round of 15-minute interviews where they will get a chance to leave an even better impression and potentially get an offer for an internship or job. Students will have the opportunity to develop their self-presentation skills in an interesting and interactive way and get to know the labor market firsthand, and companies will get the opportunity to find the perfect candidate for the required position. After the interview, companies and students will receive feedback from each other.

At this year's Business Matchmaker, 26 companies will have the opportunity to present themselves to students. Companies will be divided into 6 groups, depending on which student profile they are looking for, and following the directions at the Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb.

Applications for students begin on April 12, 2021, and run until April 23, 2021. Given that last year's dates with companies were not held due to the epidemiological situation, a large number of applications is expected this year. This project is a good opportunity for work or practice at a glance, which opens the door to further opportunities and success.
