Presentation summary:
Although the design of the work is strongly interweaved into the organization's structure and functioning (Torraco, 2005), there is a lack of understanding of the correlation of design practice at different levels of analysis. Specifically, there is insufficient knowledge on work performance of (dis) harmony between organizational design and work design. By the sequence of mentioned, starting with the theoretical framework for the modification of work (Oldham and Hackman, 1981), for the purpose of understanding the successfulness of performance of the tasks a moderation-mediation model of harmony between strategy and structure, motivational characteristics of the job (features of tasks and cognitive characteristics) and employee preferences for motivational design work have been observed. Data were collected on a sample of 50 organizations and 991 individuals. Conditional process analysis using the PROCESS macro for SPSS revealed a consistent result form for indexes of the characteristics of tasks and the cognitive features of the job, thereby confirming that job design is an intervention mechanism through which the research strategy and horizontal integration as organizational practice reflecting on the successfulness of employee's performance.

Description of the Brown Bag Seminar concept:
The Brown Bag Seminar (BBS) is an informal one-hour workshop with aim of presenting research in different stages of design (ideas, rounded theoretical framework, conducted empirical research, etc.), promoting discussion and creating a stimulating environment focused on constructive discussion between exhibitors and the rest of participants of the seminar. The basic idea of the BBS is to create a platform where at least once a month, the FEB ZG employees will have the opportunity to present the ideas and articles they work on within their scientific-research work.
We invite you to respond and help with your constructive comments to exhibitors, and expose by yourself the topics you are currently working on, unpublished works or present the research ideas you are thinking about.
