Workshop for creating web pages by using Joomla software

Workshop for creating web pages using Joomla software will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 16.12, 2020, from 3 pm to 5 pm.
 
The workshop will be held in English, and the aim of the workshop is through active work to learn the basics of creating a website by using Joomla software.
No previous software installation is required.

The workshop will be held by Mr. Radim Dolák, Ph.D., from Silesian University in Opava, using the Microsoft Teams platform. You will receive a link to the platform by email after logging in.

Workshop overview
Day: 16th December 2020 – Wednesday, 15:00-17:00, online in MS Teams

Students do not have to install software on their computers to follow the workshop. It is possible to use a web browser to connect to the online course.

Web-Based Content Management System Joomla is a software system that provides website authoring and administration tools designed to create and manage website content.
The subject of the workshop is installation, configuration, and creating website content (text, links, photos, tables, etc.) in the Joomla system and also an introduction to creating web applications with Fabric extension.
