As part of the doctoral study Economics and Global Security, a guest lecture on June 7, 2019, was given by Mr. Ivan Klešić, MSc, the Chief State Auditor.
In his lecture titled "Role of the State Audit Office in the Protection of the Economic System and the Prevention of Corruption in the Republic of Croatia", Mr. Klešić explained to the students of the PhD study the role and importance of the State Audit Office in the process of increasing the responsability of all participants in the process of collecting, spending and managing budgetary, extrabudgetary and other public funds.
Within the lecture was analysed the work of thw Office focused on auditing the financial statements and the business, as well as improving the legality, efficiency and effectiveness of entities controlling public property and other legally defined legal entities.
