Participating in 2019 ICT Supergirls

For the fifth time Lemax Company is organizing the ICT Supergirls event, which will be held this year on May 7 from 13 to 18 at ZICER at Zagreb Fair.

ICT Supergirls is organized on the occasion of the "Girls in ICT" World Day. It is an international, humanitarian event held in more than 166 countries around the world, with the goal of promoting women's career in the technology sector, which is still the dominant male area. It is about empowering women to choose their career in ICT activities and not to fear this "male" world. As part of the event, a mentoring program is organized for students to apply if they so wish. The whole event and mentoring program are free for all students.

This year's lecture topics will focus on exploiting the potential of the most prosperous industry today and breaking the myth of being the only ticket to the ICT world of the technical faculty diploma. The speakers of ICT Supergirls will be a few colleagues from the organizer company (Lemax), and besides, their tales will be told by other lecturers, interesting and inspirational women who have already built successful careers. We want their stories and experiences to inspire students and give them confidence that everything can be done whenever they want.

Student registration for this free event is via official website or official Facebook page, and we expect students to attend the Zagreb Fair on Tuesday, May 7th from 13h.
