The Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb is pleased to announce the International Scientific and Art Conference Contemporary Themes in Education – CTE to be held in Zagreb, Croatia from 15 – 17 November 2019. The Conference will encompass ten symposia focusing on education across various scientific fields; pedagogy and psychology, philosophy, teaching methodology, mother tongue acquisition, foreign language acquisition, information and communication sciences, mathematics, kinesiology, fine and visual arts, and music.
Conference participants will be offered four keynote lectures as well as nine plenary lectures presented by Croatian and international experts as part of specific symposia.
As part of the arts programme, Conference participants are invited to the Exhibition of artwork and theory produced by the art education professors at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb in the hundred years of the Faculty (1919 – 2019) and the Concert performed by the Faculty students and staff.
New deadline for abstract submission is 23rd June 2019.
The papers presented at the Conference will be published in online conference proceedings. Prime papers will be published in the Faculty of Teacher Education’s scientific journal Croatian Journal of Education.
