It is our pleasure to invite you to a lecture by Ms. Rie Ivandić, Ph.D. (University of Oxford, LSE & Visiting Fellow FEBZG) on the topic "Why do citizens go to the polls?". Ms. Ria Ivandić, Ph.D., teaches Political Economy at the University of Oxford and is a researcher at the London School of Economics (Center for Economic Performance) and since 2021 Visting Fellow at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. After graduating from FEBZG in 2012, she earned a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Economics Barcelona in 2013 and defended her doctoral thesis in political economy at King’s College London in 2019. Her research interests include political economy, applied microeconometrics, and crime economics.
