BORROWING BOOKS, CDs AND PERIODICALS

The books can be borrowed using Self-Check Machine or at circulation desk next to the library entrance. All information about the books can be found on OPAC (the On Line Public Access Catalogue) of the LDC. The books could be loaned at the self-check or at the desk on the entrance of the Library. All informations about the books you can find on OPAC (on-line public access catalogue) or in the alphabetical or classified card catalogs. The additional infos regarding yours field of interest or respective publications you can get in our Documentation centre.
CDs containing undergraduate and graduate papers, master's or doctoral thesis could be loaned at the same spot as the printed copies.
Journals, undergraduate and graduate papers, master's or doctoral thesis could be ordered at the desk on the entrance of the Library at least one day in advance
 

Instructions for the use of literature:
 
Books - regular loan - maximum 3 copies for a period of 30 days that is possible to extend for another 15 days. Holidays are not counted in the loan period. Books can not be reserved in advance. For the lost or heavily damaged publication user is obliged to aquire the identical copy or to settle the price of the book as well as eventualy acumulated overdue fee.
The BDIB students could borrow the books from regular-loan stock only under the same condition.

KDC copies are for the use in the reading room only.
Journals should be ordered a day in advance and maximum up to 10 references at once!! The journals could be used in the reading room only.

The undergraduate and graduate papers, master's or doctoral thesis and the books from the closed repository should be ordered at least a day in advance and maximum up to 5 references at once. Printed copies could be used exclusively in the reading room. Electronic copies (CDs/DVDs) of the papers that are subject to evaluation could be loaned for 3 days up to 5 copies.
Reference collection could be used in the reading room only - please, contact the duty librarian at the loan-desk.
 
The overdue fee for the book from regular-loan stock is 0,13 EUR per day!
The overdue fee for the book from KDC stock is 1,33 EUR per day!
The overdue fee for the journals, undergraduate and graduate papers, master's or doctoral thesis brought out of the reading room without permission is 6,64 EUR per day / per issue!
The overdue fee for CD/DVD is 0,66 EUR per day!

BDIB collection


collection of required reading assigned exclusively to the BDIB students.
To all full time BDiB students!
Please, be so kind and return/borrow the books within two weeks from the beginning of the classes in the winter/summer semester,
in order that we can provide the books for the loan to the exchange students or  students who enrolled one or more BDiB courses.

  For borrowed books deadline is a maximum of 150 days (instead of the previous one year).
To delay for returning books students pay late fees according to the existing library price list.

For borrowing BDiB books student is required to have index with him/her when coming to library (to determine whether student is enrolled on BDiB program or is he/her exchange student).
If student doesn’t have BDiB stamp in his/her index - the library officer needs to instruct the student to the student office.

The overdue fine for BDIB books after expiration date is 0,13 EUR per day!!

Until you settle all debts toward the library, you cannot get certificate of graduation (degree certificate)!!!
