In early 2021, the Indonesian government launched a new mobility program, the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards - IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Scholarship Program), aiming to send over 1,000 Indonesian undergraduate students for semester mobility to the world's most prestigious universities. universities around the world. The Central Office for International Cooperation of UNIZG, in cooperation with 6 constituents of the University (Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Economics & Business, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Faculty of Political Science, and Faculty of Science) submitted a project proposal at the end of April 2021.
In June 2021, UNIZG was informed that in the close competition of 267 higher education institutions from 43 countries of 5 continents, the UNIZG project was positively evaluated and the first Indonesian students will in ac. yr. 2021/22 within this project visit the University of Zagreb, i.e. the FEB ZG. Namely, all five students (four female students and one male student) chose FEB ZG as an admission institution within the University of Zagreb, and the students are coming from reputable Indonesian universities: the Padjadjaran University (public university, one of the top five universities in Indonesia) - 4 students and the Bakrie University (the private university) - 1 student.

It should be emphasized that only 73 universities from 31 countries were evaluated positively, and the University of Zagreb with FEB ZG is the only Croatian higher education institution in the new student mobility project with Indonesia. The very success of the FEB ZG can be attributed to the continuous internationalization activities of the FEB ZG: the fact that the FEB ZG offers a large number of courses in the English language (over 130), has prestigious international accreditations (AACSB, EPAS), and has established itself as a component of UNIZG that has the great number of incoming exchange students, which was evidently recognized by the Government of Indonesia or the students who have chosen the FEB ZG.
