ERASMUS+ Project SUSTA

Based on the Call for Project Proposals for 2020 within the Erasmus + project (KA 2-Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices, KA203-Strategic Partnerships in Higher Education), has been accepted funding for a strategic partnership project in higher education entitled "Teaching Sustainability in Higher Education in the Field of Economics and Management ”  /abbreviated SUSTA/.
The project leader is Poznan University of Economics and Business (PUEB), and five partner universities will participate in the project: Universidad Miguel Hernandez de Elche from Spain, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague from the Czech Republic, University of Zagreb (Faculty of Economics & Business) from Croatia, The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra from Slovakia and the University of Szeged from Hungary. The coordinator of the project on behalf of the Faculty of Economics & Business in Zagreb is Prof. Blaženka Knežević, Ph.D. considering that the project application is a continuation of cooperation with scientists involved in the activities of her completed research HRZZ project on social supermarkets.
This project will last for two years, and the main goal is to develop the concept of interactive teaching of sustainability in business economics, which will increase the knowledge, awareness, and involvement of future managers in problems in the field of sustainable business. The project envisages five intellectual results: (1) to create a solid basis for project activities based on research on students' awareness of sustainability, their expectations of interactive development in this area, and a thorough systematic review and teaching of existing disciplines in sustainable business studies in business economics, (2) develop a comprehensive syllabus for the course in the field of sustainability and describe the competencies that will be the learning outcomes, (3) develop materials for teaching sustainability in business economics studies in the form of e-books accompanying the syllabus course, (4) describe case studies of sustainable business in successful companies to be used for interactive teaching based on examples from all countries involved, (5) record videos for all course content to be broadcast on the project's YouTube channel and the official channels of all institutions involved.
