Early researcher symposium

About:

ERS is a half-day event for early stage researchers including young faculty, post docs and PhD students who would like to learn more about how to conduct research and publish. The symposium will make it possible to learn from senior researchers and support professional skills development for building academic career, enable peers meeting, ideas exchange, collaborations and networking.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR JOINING THE EARLY RESEARCHER SYMPOSIUM (ERS) VIA ZOOM

1.    All registered participants will receive an e-mail on Monday, 14th September 2020 with instructions and a link to register for Zoom room ERS. If you haven’t received an email, please check your Spam folder.

2.    We kindly ask participants to register for Zoom room ERS prior to the event. Once you register, the Organizing Committee will manually approve you, so the confirmation will not come immediately, but after some minutes or hours.

3.    You will then receive a confirmation email for Zoom room ERS, with a unique link to access the event. If you haven’t received an email, please check your Spam folder. You will also be able to save the event to your calendar.

4.    Please click the unique link in the Zoom room ERS registration confirmation email to join the event.

5.    In the beginning there will be a waiting room. Kindly wait that we let you in.

6.    After you join the event, your status in the Zoom room will be set to “Attendee”. You will not be able to turn on your camera or microphone, but you will be able to raise your hand and use the Q&A feature to ask questions.

We highly recommend downloading and using free Zoom application for joining the sessions (via zoom.us).
