Secretary of State of the Central State Office for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Zvonko Milas and Prof. Jurica Pavičić, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb, signed an Agreement on Cooperation, based on which a new study program suitable to the needs of Croatian emigrants will be launched from the next academic year.
It is a matter of one-year university master's study "Leadership" conducted entirely in English, and the backbone of the program will be courses in the field of organizational development. The framework of the program was expanded through added thematic lectures as well as visits to the most important domestic and foreign companies and key institutions in the Republic of Croatia.
On that occasion, Secretary of State, Mr. Milas, expressed satisfaction on the launching of the Leadership program and cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and said: "The Office participated in the design of this program and I believe that we have a master study we can be proud of. Due to its accreditation, the Faculty of Economics & Business in Zagreb is globally competitive and thus attractive to young people who want to spend a year in Croatia, gaining not only knowledge and an internationally recognized diploma, but also their own, authentic experiences of modern Croatia."
Prof. Jurica Pavičić, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business, as well as the program manager Prof. Darko Tipurić, Ph.D., also expressed satisfaction and emphasized that the Faculty of Economics & Business is accredited by the AACSB, and through this unique program seeks to be a place of integration of students from home and abroad.
