Due to the ever-increasing trend of healthy lifestyles, as a favorite activity, many employees and students simply choose to run as a recreation mode thus combining exercise and fresh air.
This growing trend has also been recognized by the Association of students of tourism of the Faculty of Economics that has decided to organize a free educational and recreational project TOURISM FUN & RUN in collaboration with Sight Run and their sport and tourism application. This combines sport and tourism by enabling an active break that involves a lot of sporting content and acquiring new knowledge through the discovery of different attractions.
The aim of this project is to bring together all the lovers of sport and running with tourism and the see sights of the city of Zagreb. Along the ruth "Zagreb Must See", that is 5.6 kilometers long, will the essential cultural and historical sites in Gornji and Donji grad be toured and from expert staff the participants will learn some interesting things and facts related to them. It is aim of this project, to stimulate young people for a healthy and active life and at the same time getting better to know a city where they move about on very interesting and, above all, a fun way.
Before the race, a training session would be organized under the expert guidance of the Fitness Form coach, through wich the project partners will be introduced and where you will be able to prepare for the run.
We will gather on Zrinjevac at 10:00 am, on Saturday, May 19. The route starts at Ban Josip Jelačić Square and ends at the Square of Nikola Šubić Zrinskog.
