On Friday, July 20, 2018 a longtime professor at the Faculty of Economics & Business - Zagreb, Prof. Jadranka Bendeković, PhD, Member of the Department of Commerce passed away.
The Professor has given a remarkable scientific contribution to the development of transport, shipping and insurance disciplines. She is an author of series of books, numerous scientific and professional articles and several university textbooks. Her research interests included a strategy for the development of certain transport sectors in Croatia and within the European Union, the inclusion of Croatia's transport flows into the EU's transport flows and the liberalization process in certain branches of transport within the European Union.
She has participated in numerous conferences and expert meetings in the area of transport and insurance policy.
The funeral of Prof. Jadranka Bendeković, PhD, will be at the cemetery in Opatija on July 25, 2018 at 10:00 am.
Commemoration for Prof. Jadranka Bendeković, PhD, will be held in September.
