The extent to which fiscal policy in Croatia is sustainable and cyclical is analyzed in a scientific paper that will be presented by Mr. Frane Banić, Ph.D., Economist Researcher at Croatian National Bank. The novelty of the paper is that the asymmetric function of the fiscal response depending on the phase of the business cycle is estimated.
The presentation is based on the article of the same name by Frane Banić and Vladimir Arčabić, assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics & Business in Zagreb, published in the scientific journal IJF Public Sector Economics.
