Participation of the Counseling and Career Development Office at the Erasmus + Seminar

From October 23 to 25, 2018, Erasmus + seminar on "Connecting Higher Education Institutions and Business Community: Increasing the Quality of Erasmus + Traineeships" was held. The seminar was organized by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (AMPEU) in cooperation with the Austrian, Romanian and Slovenian National Agencies in charge of implementation of the Erasmus + Program.
The seminar was intended for employees of the International Cooperation Office responsible for the organization of professional practice, career advisors, study leaders, vice-deans for international cooperation or other staff responsible for cooperation between higher education institutions and the economy.

The chance to attend the seminar was given to the Head of the Counseling and Career Development Office at the Faculty of Economics & Business at the University of Zagreb, and thus she had the opportunity to be part of a group of 70 participants from 20 countries from Europe. The purpose of this seminar was to connect higher education institutions with the business community and increase the quality of Erasmus + professional practice.

During the 3 days of the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to hear examples of good practice in order to improve the quality of professional practice, finding partner companies, motivating students and mentors, and some of the challenges we all have. Through lectures, workshops and group work, there was the possibility to connect with colleagues from other institutions and discussed the possibilities of cooperation.
