Panel discussion on the Actualities of Competition Law and Policy - Determining the Cartel: Standards of Evidence and Judicial Control

In the first half of 2018, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia issued two interesting decisions in the field of competition protection, which question the issue of the standard of proof of the cartel agreement in Croatian law. What is the cartel? How to prove it? What is the role of European law in the context of national administrative and judicial practice? What are the standards of proof in European and Croatian jurisprudence?

These and other issues will be discussed by our panelists at the October forum on the actualities of law and competition policy.

The Panel titled Determining the Cartel: Standards of Evidence and Judicial Control will be held on Friday 26 October 2018 at 10 am in Hall 7.

Panelists are Snježana Bagić, PhD, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, Prof.  Siniša Petrović, PhD , Faculty of Law - Zagreb, Ms. Mirna Romić, Judicial Counselor at the Court of the European Union and Assoc.
