Jean Monnet project at the Faculty of Economics & Business in Zagreb - "Solidary Europe for Inclusive Society" (EUsolis)

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) has accepted funding for a project under the Erasmus + Call for Proposals EAC / A09 / 2021 under the Jean Monnet Actions in other fields of Education and Training: Teacher Training entitled "Solidary Europe for Inclusive Society" (EUsolis). The Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb is the holder of a three-year project. The head of the project is Assoc. Prof. Kosjenka Dumančić, Ph.D. and the members of the project team are Assoc. Prof. Ivana Marić, Assoc. Prof. Maja Klindžić, Ph.D., Ms. Ana Rep, Ph.D., Ms. Marija Šimunović, senior librarian, Ms. Davorka Jukica, graduate librarian, and Ms. Tatjana Golojuh Luketa, B.Sc. civil engineer.

The general objectives of the project are (1) to support lifelong learning in the context of European themes such as education, professional and personal development of VET providers, especially teachers and librarians, (2) to provide an environment for better understanding the European Union and to encourage young people to become active citizens who contribute to an active society of the European Union, (3) promote equality, inclusiveness, justice, and cooperation among young people.

The project activities will be organized through four modules: (1) Youth and Active Society of the European Union, (2) Diversity, (3) Solidarity Europe, and (4) Sustainable Cities. FEBZG LDC and EDC are marked as important places for acquiring and distributing knowledge and will be a central point for knowledge exchange and transfer of new knowledge.
