ITHAS is an internationally recognized programme offering students the opportunity to listen to lectures and participate in discussions and workshops in a multicultural environment with eminent tourism professors from all around the world. They also learn about sustainable tourism development on practical examples while visiting different destinations and presenting development practices from their countries.

"This year's programme of experiential learning in the area of nautical tourism and all related activities have been carefully planned and included some of our best marinas, as well as national parks whose resources are related to the biodiversity of aquatic habitats. It should be particularly noted that this year the Ulysses Foundation of the World Tourism Organization is our partner for the first time, which only confirms the extremely high reputation of ITHAS in the world of tourism education", said Professor Nevenka Čavlek, PhD, ITHAS project manager.
