Welcoming the students, their teachers and mentors, and other distinguished guests wished the professor. Ph. D. Lajos Zager, Dean of the Faculty of Economics. The participants held welcome speeches - Jadranka Žarković-Pečenković, Director of the Agency for Education, Goran Pauk, president of the Croatian Association of Counties, Academician Zvonko Kusic, president of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Momir Karin, Deputy Minister of Science, Education and Sports KarloHorvat, president of the National student Council.
Oskar knowledge received students during 2015/2016. year who won first place in the national competitions and the students who have achieved significant success in international competitions. With Oscar of knowledge received students of music and dance school and music academies who have won the first prize and first place in the national competitions of music and dance. For the dedicated and diligent work with students their mentros and teachers are commend.
Sculptures of Oscar knowledge are created by students of the Center for Education Cakovec in collaboration with the Secondary School "August Šenoa" from Garešnica.
