AMAC-UK academic award - open for applications

AMAC UK  invites to apply for the grant of £ 1,000 for projects in the field of science or culture associated with scientific institutions in the UK. Applications will be accepted from all students of  universities in Croatia at the undergraduate or postgraduate level of education. Or fullfill the following criteria:

(A) a current or former student of one of the Croatian universities

(B) a person with Croatian citizenship

(C) a permanent resident and / or employmed in the Republic of Croatia


The application should include:

- A brief biography and bibliography

- Proposal for the project, which includes:

1) the institution or location where the program will take place;

2) the duration of the project;

3) The purpose of the project;

4) assessment that will explain how the project will contribute to the candidate’s academic career;

5) assessment of the extent to which the project is important for the promotion of Croatian science and culture;

6) explanation of how the funds awarded contribute to the budget of the entire project


After completion of the project, the successful candidate is expected to write a report that wil be published on the AMAC UK website, and to explain the costs.

Detailed instructions and application forms were sent to a number of academic institutions and universities in the Republic of Croatia. Applications for the award and recommendation (sent by e-mail to amacuk1993@gmail.com or mail to AMAC UK, 30 Hayward Road, Oxford, OX2 8LW, United Kingdom) must be received no later than midnight on April 22nd 2016. The decision to grant awards will be made in mid-May 2016. the award should be used within a period of 12 months after recieving it.
