Project Management Awards 2015

The Emerald Ballroom at the prestigious Esplanade Hotel was occupied on 22.12.2015. The first award for the best project and the best young leaders, of the "Project Management Awards 2015", was organized by the Young Crew Greece, under the auspices of the Croatian Association for Project Management.

"Project Management Awards" is a unique tribute to the Republic of Croatia and the first step in professional success for young indivualds, in the field of project management. Iin addition, it provides a good framework for the assessment of their own abilities in the national competitive environment and provides an opportunity to the winners to participate in the international competition "IPMA Project Management Awards" as Croatian representatives.

 

The Evaluation Committee; an independent body composed of experts in the field of project management, according to the evaluation criteria defined at the global level in line with the IPMA Competence Baseline (ICB), assess all applications received and decided on the finalists and winners. This year's evaluation committee consisted of:

 

1. prof. Ph. D.. Mladen Radujković (Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb, president of the Croatian Association for Project Management)

 

2. prof. Ph. D.. Marina Dabić (Zagreb Faculty of Economics, an expert on EU projects)

 

3. Vedran Jelić (Adacta d.o.o.).

In both categories - the best project with a young director and the best young project - the first place went to students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. The Best young project manager declared was Andrei Hanzir for the project "Manager20 - Youth reshaping the future", and the best project of the Economic clinic (Leader: Andrej Hanzir, team members: Catherine Guja, David Habek Joseph Golub, Emanuel Glasnović and Marin Grubić).
