With the beginning of the new academic year started on October 5th 2015, an “Erste Chillin 'Zone” was opened at the Faculty of Economics and Business. The informal opening was celebrated by a mini table tennis tournament, which was opened by the vice-deans of the faculty, assoc. prof. dr. sc. Anita Pavković, assoc. prof. dr. sc. Mislav Ante Omazić, prof. dr. sc. Jurica Pavičić and Ivan Sesar, president of the Student Union. Their skills in table tennis were shown to a dozen students at the FEB. The best amongst them was Andrija Semenjuk, and all of them were rewarded with an appropriate Erste gift.
The Erste Chillin' Zone is a specially designed space intended for rest and relaxation for students, and is located on the "busiest" part of the Faculty, between “Kefa” and the library.
Erste Chillin' Zone remains available to students and teachers. Rackets and balls for table tennis can be borrowed in the wardrobe. There is also a totem available for charging smartphones.
