Exhibition “Slovak Republic” within the project “EU states in the focus of education”

The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb is strategically oriented towards the internationalization of its study programs and has become a center of economic and business education for students from various countries of the European Union and beyond through its accredited programs. In order to provide domestic and international students and other members of the academic community with the opportunity to educate themselves about the similarities and differences between the countries of the European Union, the idea arose to launch the project “EU states in the focus of education”. The initiator of the project is the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zagreb, which will organize a series of exhibitions on cultural, educational, economic, and other important aspects that characterize each country, in cooperation with the embassies of EU member states. The project is implemented with the support of the Representation of the European Commission in Croatia. The organization of exhibitions is carried out by the Library and Documentation Centre (LDC) and the European Documentation Centre (EDC-LDC) of the Faculty of Economics - Zagreb. The exhibitions will be open to the public in the premises of LDC and EDC, and upon completion of the physical presentation will be available as virtual exhibitions through the official website and social networks of organizers and partners.

The first exhibition is dedicated to the Slovak Republic, and the grand opening will be held on December 15, 2021, at 14:15 in the Library and Documentation Centre of the Faculty. On that occasion, the dean prof. Jurica Pavičić and the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic NJ. E. Peter Susko.

The exhibition will be open to the public until January 14, 2022 and will be available in a virtual form afterward.
