Biography
Career overview:
Zvonimir Šafranko was born on November 1, 1978 in Zagreb. He is employed at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb, at the Department of Business Law as assistant professor.
He graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb. In 2016 he finished the doctoral study of legal sciences at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb, majoring in Company Law and Commercial Law, with the defense of a doctoral thesis entitled "Legal Aspects of the Use of Electronic Transferable Records in Commercial Transactions".
He has been employed at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb since 2010, as an assistant, and since 2017, as a senior assistant. On 2019, he was elected to the scientific-teaching title of assistant professor.
Prior to his employment at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb, from 1998 to 2005 he was employed at the trading company Valentino moda d.o.o., from 2005 to 2006 as a court clerk at the Municipal Court in Zagreb, and from 2006 to 2010. at the Commercial Court in Zagreb, as a court consultant. He passed the bar exam in 2008. From 2011 to 2015, he was the director of the company Valentino moda d.o.o.
As a part of teaching activities, he holds lectures and seminars in Commercial Law and Law of International Trade at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin.
