Exhibition "Republic of Poland"

 

The Republic of Poland was presented to students in May as part of the project “EU countries in the lens of education”.

The Library and Documentation Center / European Documentation Center and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland organized a lecture and interview with students on 12 May for this occasion, as well as an information exhibition on Poland and studying in Poland.

After the introductory of the dean prof. dr. sc. Jurica Pavičić a lecture on study opportunities in Poland and the Polish economy was given by Bartosz Marcinkowski, Head of the Political and Economic Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Croatia. After the lecture, a dialogue was held with students, who asked questions about exchange opportunities within the Erasmus program, purchasing power, inflation, average salary in Poland, etc.

For this occasion, the exhibition "Republic of Poland" was organized, which can be visited in the Library and Documentation Center until May 27 this year.
 

 

Project “EU countries in the lens of education” is implemented by the Library and Documentation Center / European Documentation Center in cooperation with the embassies of the European Union and with the support of the Representation of the European Commission in Croatia. The purpose of the project is to present the similarities and differences of the European Union countries to domestic and international students and other members of the academic community, and thus further encourage student mobility. In addition to the occasional events, the Library and Documentation Center also organizes exhibitions representing the guest's country, and upon completion are set up as virtual exhibitions (https://eu.izlozbe.net.efzg.hr/).
