There will be two announcements of interest for foreign students, see also

In particular:
1) A first announcement (to be published in May-June 2010) will concern a limited number of fully funded grants for foreign (non- Italian) graduate students to be awarded on the basis of qualifications only and requiring no entry examination. The grants include all University and Department fees, full board at the University accommodation and provide an additional personal scholarship of 13,600 per year for a total of 3 years. Interested candidates are encouraged in the first instance to contact the School Director (alessandra.salvan@unipd.it ) or to dottorato@stat.unipd.it , submitting their CV.

2) Publication of the ordinary announcement for admission to PhD Schools of Padova University will follow, presumably on September 1st with deadline on September 30th, 2010. Positions will be covered by scholarship of 13,600 per year for a total of 3 years. Admission will be by competition based on qualifications and a written examination.
The admission procedure will take place between October 10 and October 30, 2010, at the Department of Statistics, University of Padua.
