As part of the traditional Christmas Reception of the Faculty of Economics & Business held on December 21, 2018, the Faculty management headed by the Dean Prof. Jurica Pavičić, PhD handed charts of appreciation and acknowledgments to distinguished professors, students, jubilees and high schools and their headmasters.
The annual award for scientific-research contribution for the highest citation and h-index in the last five years according to Google Scholar received Prof. Marina Dabić, PhD. Assoc. Prof. Josip Mikulić, PhD was awarded for the best scientific-research paper in the category of works published in the best-ranked scientific journal according to the criteria of database Journal Citation Report for 2018.
For the scientific-research work with the strongest five-year influence, annual awards went to Prof. Mirjana Pejić Bach, PhD and Prof. Vesna Bosilj Vukšić, PhD got it for the largest five-year citation of the work published and indexed in the database Web of Science Core Collection.
Acknowledgment for the Special Contribution to Scientific Productivity of the Faculty in the Younger Researchers category was given to Assist. Prof. Petar Sorić, PhD for the total number of indexed scientific papers and the largest total citation in the database Web of Science Core Collection in 2018.
For outstanding results in teaching in the academic year 2017/2018. acknowledgments were presented to Assist. Prof. Ana Aleksić, Ph.D., Ms. Petra Međimurec, PhD, Assist. Prof. Maja Klindžić, PhD and Mr. Ammar Avdić, external associate, while acknowledgments for outstanding achievements in teaching in the past five years were given to Assist. Prof. Lucija Rogić Dumančić, Ph.D., Mr. Andrija Sabol, PhD, and Assist. Prof. Tomislav Globan, PhD.
Special thanks were given to Ms. Tajana Köhler, author of the recognizable logo of the Faculty of Economics & Business, for contribution to the building of Faculty image and to Ms. Ljiljana Mesarov for long years of work and improvement of the work of Faculty of Economics & Business.
Charts of appreciation were also handed to the jubilee of the staff and student singing choir Sonus Oeconomicus, and special thanks were offered to the staff who retired in 2018. Furthermore were presented the new employees employed during the year.
For co-operation and extraordinary contribution to the development and education of future students of the Faculty of Economics & Business, the charts of appreciation were delivered to the First Economic School, Second Economic School, Third Economic School, Economic School Velika Gorica, Economic, Trade and Hospitality School - Samobor, XIII. High school, Gornjogradska High school, II. High school, VII. High school and High school - Sesvete and their headmasters.
Acknowledgments were also presented to students of the Faculty of Economics & Business: student Ema Banić for sports achievements and contribution to the promotion of Faculty, student David Sesar for improvement of student standard at the Faculty and student Patrick Bedić for promotion of the Faculty of Economics & Business in public and raising awareness of the importance of students and student associations.
For outstanding success at the Rotman European Trading Competition, students Josip Halužan, Tea Logger, Katarina Mitrović and Filip Špiranec were awarded thanks, as well as for great success on the project Croatian Brain to Croatia to the students David Orešković, Nikica Mikulić, Irena Prpić, Marina Previšić, Karla Štimac, Karla Bakalović, Luka Beljan and Lucija Barić.
