The Final Workshop of the Croatian Science Foundation Project entitled "Process and Business Intelligence for Business Excellence - PROSPER"

At the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zagreb, on June 27, 2019, a final workshop of the Croatian Science Foundation project entitled "Process and business intelligence for business excellence - PROSPER" (IP-2014-09-3729) was held.
 
"Throughout the four years of the project, we conducted extensive research in the form of questionnaires and interviews and published numerous articles on the application of business process management and business intelligence in companies and we have successfully met all project goals," said Prof. Vesna Bosilj Vukšić, PhD, head of the PROSPER project, emphasized the importance of co-operation with the practice and expressed gratitude to the many experts present with whom the research team cooperated throughout the project.
 
The invited guests were also welcomed by the Vice-Dean for Strategic Partnerships and Projects, Assoc. Prof.  Sanja Sever Mališ, PhD after which members of the PROSPER project team presented project data and project results as well as the most interesting conclusions from the field of process and business intelligence.
 
The project PROSPER, which includes associates from the Republic of Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, started on  September 1, 2015 as a multidisciplinary project covering the fields of social and technical sciences. The purpose of the project was to investigate the application of process and business intelligence to organizations and their impact on business performance, with a particular focus on the use of modern technologies (such as business process management systems, data mining, simulation software) in implementing these concepts. So far 45 scientific papers have been published, 1 is accepted for publication and 8 are in the review process. In addition, the project will result in the publication of two doctoral dissertations. The project ends on August 31, 2019.
