The Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and Rijeka with their doctoral studies in Economics and Business Economics are prominent members of this prestigious international association of doctoral studies, and with the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana are the only economics faculty members in the region.

EDAMBA comprises 70 prestigious universities with faculties pursuing doctoral studies in business economics in Europe and the world. It enables its members to improve their doctoral studies and mentors, curricula, and the organization of doctoral studies, which Ph.D. students of the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and Rijeka have been using for the last several years. Membership in EDAMBA also enabled the comparability of doctoral studies at the highest level, and enabled, among other things, Matea Kovač, Ph.D. et  Tanja Fatur Šikic, Ph.D. to receive this prestigious award.
